Artwork: Infernal Emissary

One thing that is absolutely imperative to consider, when drawing a fantasy being, is the 'logic' of their attire with respect to their individual distinctive characteristics. For example, when adding wings to a character, this obviously has impact on their mode of dress—they need to be able to put on and take off their garments even when there's a bloody great pair of extra limbs sprouting from their back.

I gave absolutely no thought to this when I drew this image.

A young woman with horns, leathery wings and a reptilian tail. Her hair is auburn, cut to reach the back of her neck. She has orange eyes with vertically-slit pupils. She is dressed modestly in dark burgundy, with wide-flared sleeves, a black leather belt and wide-flared thigh-high leather boots. She appears to be stepped out of teal-coloured mist.
She's come to offer you a deal.

Okay, illogical clothes aside, I quite like how this came out in terms of the expression of the subject and the demureness she appears to carry herself with. It makes me think more about the subject's character, what she does, and how she feels about it.
