Artwork: Celestial Supplicant
There's a technique for 'cheating' patterns on clothing, often demonstrated in comics and manga. Basically, you just 'print' the pattern over the fabric with no regard for folds or perspective. It saves a lot of effort, but can be disconcerting if it doesn't fit with the art style in general.

This is another in my series "characters whose wings don't logically go with their clothes". I really need to start taking that more seriously.
