Artwork: Empusa (Persona 2: Innocent Sin)

I've been (slowly) playing through the Persona games, starting the PSP rereleases of Persona 1 and 2. Several of the demon and persona designs in Persona 2 in particular have caught my eye; compared to the mainline Shin Megami Tensei games and the later Persona games, Persona 2's demons and personas have their own distinct interpretations, so I decided to try drawing one.

Consequently, here is my drawing of Empusa, the greek vampire/spirit with the single brass leg:

I took the opportunity to experiment a bit with lighting, specifically shading the character as if she was lit from below. The result is quite stark, but seems to have come out okay.
