Artwork: Alluring Erinys

One final drawing before Christmas—and it's another erinys, because I am nothing if not a creature of habit. This one is perhaps more of a seirene/siren, stretched out upon a rock and potentially luring unwary sailors to their doom. Though I think a proper siren probably ought to be more bird-like, with talons on their feet and no arms separate from their wings.

A woman with long red hair, horns sprouting from her hair, large feathered wings and a reptilian tail, leans out over a rock outcropping. She's mostly in profile, her leg stretched out behind her, one arm pulled back behind her head while the other arm is used to prop herself up. She's wearing a long green halterneck dress that turns turquoise at the hem. She's wearing long black gloves extending up past her elbow, and long black boots extending up past her knee. The background is dark, with hints of starry sky and a reddish light shining down on the woman from somewhere above and in front of her.
An erinys or seirene, leaning out over a rocky outcropping, luring unwaring passers-by to their doom. Maybe. Or she's just stretching.

Come the new year, I should probably put a bit more effort in differentiating my drawing output, and maybe focus more on specific projects—though what to do? What to do...?
