Artwork: Mage Casual

I really did not expect to finish another drawing so soon, but it's been quite humid lately and I have important work to avoid. So here we are!

A drawing of a young woman with curved horns and a devilish tail summoning magical energies, seen from an elevated perspective. The woman has her hand raised in front of her face, palm out, an ethereal turquoise flame emitting from her palm. She has blond hair hanging down to just above her shoulders, bright teal eyes and pale olive skin. Her hair has a pink streak. She's wearing a blue and green tracksuit top over a maroon crop-top, and is wearing charcoal-coloured sweatpants. She has an unconcerned, slightly lazy look on her face; her spare hand is in her sweatpant pocket. She appears to be standing in the middle of path made from irregular stone blocks.
Not every mage has the time to dress to impress, but that does not mean she can't smite anyone who tries to get in her way, whether from below or above.

Perspective is a deceptive thing. You can have photographic evidence (e.g. a pose reference) that you are drawing out a character's proportions entirely correctly for the scene, and you might still blink and suddenly become convinced that you've entirely messed up. It does not help that sometimes something that is technically correct for reality might not work so well when drawn in a particular art style—see also foreshortening and colour.
