Artwork: Elf Woman and Bodyguard

A young elf woman out and about on a cold winter morning, with her bodyguard keeping an eye on her surroundings.

A more modern kind of drawing than usual, with the fantastic elements minimised. Really, the only reason I kept the pointed elf-ears was out of habit.

A drawing of two elves in modern clothes, walking by some trees on a winter morning, shortly after sunrise. The pair are walking towards the viewer. Walking slightly ahead is a young female elf with pale skin, long lilac hair and green eyes. She's holding up a takeout coffee cup in one hand while carrying a blue shopping bag in the other. Steam rises from the coffee cup. She's wearing a green cap, an oversized pink hoody and a short black skirt. She's also wearing a pair of checkered tights and has a backpack slung behind her. She wears a silver ring on one finger of her right hand. Slightly behind her and to the left (her right), walks a male elf with brown skin, close-cropped dark hair and slate-blue eyes. He's staring off at something behind his companion. He's wearing a long beige overcoat over a brown jacket and blue jeans, a white shirt and blue tie underneath the jacket. He has his hands in his coat pockets.
A cup of coffee, a bit of shopping—but her guardian is always ready for any trouble coming her way.

Originally this drawing was just a practice for modern clothing, with no particular relationship between the two subjects beyond that they were walking together. But it was immediately pointed out that the male elf had strong bodyguard vibes, and I couldn't really disagree.
