Artwork: Gnome Wizard

A drawing of one of my Dungeons and Dragons characters from a previous campaign: Sindri Silverspindle, Forest Gnome Transmuter. And his friend/familiar, Remington!

The latest drawing in my nascent series "hey, what if I drew more characters from an elevated perspective?", Sindri was the party wizard in the D&D prewritten campaign "Dungeon of the Mad Mage", set entirely in the cavernous Undermountain. Remington was there also.

A forest gnome wizard in an underground cavern, accompanied by a large brown bat. The viewpoint is from an elevated perspective; the gnome is looking up at the bat with a faint smile on his face. The gnome has greyish green hair, a tuft of which grows from his chin. He has pointed ears and a big nose. He's holding an open spellbook in one hand, and a staff in the other. The staff has a glowing teal orb set within its crook. The gnome appears to be standing on a stone bridge over some distant heat source, possibly magma.
Sindri the wizard and his trusty familar Remington (the bat).

I decided to redraw Sindri (I draw most of my roleplay characters these days, especially if played on an online Virtual Tabletop like Roll20) basically on whim. Unlike most of the adventurers we played in that campaign, Sindri actually got to the end without being killed, though he did spend a small time as a stone statue (damn Muiral).
