Artwork: Princess Blade

Sometimes it's good to mess around. This doesn't always lead to the best results as an artist, but at the very least it can be somewhat cathartic.

So, 'Princess Blade':

A blonde-haired woman with a sword stands in a cloud of pink mist. She's leaning to one side, her rapier pointing directly off-screen. She has cyan eyes, a straight-cut fringe, and is wearing a spiked crown. She's wearing a black sleeveless top, held up by a band around her neck. Her arms are clad with detached cream-coloured sleeves, flaring at both ends. She has a pink-and-white thorn-patterned skirt, under which she wears black leggings and bronze greaves. She has a black sword-belt around her hips. While one hand holds her sword within a bell-hilt, the other holds her scabbard.
So much pink and yellow. It's spreading!

I can't say that this is one of my best works. It's oppressively pink by my standards, and the blotchy pink mist does little than hide a slightly dodgy pair of booted feet at the base of the drawing. The clothing ensemble is a little... let's say random. Still, I've done worse, and I may well do worse again in future, so let's just leave this piece here to speak for itself, yes?
